Organically buffered for a cleaner start
Fresh coco coir naturally holds on to salts. Washing rinses away the loose ones, but it does not change what the coir itself is holding on to. That takes a separate step, called buffering, so our coir is soaked before it is pressed, until the excess washes away and the pH settles into balance.
That soak is done organically, with natural inputs rather than synthetic salts, so the coir keeps the plain, honest character of the husk it came from. Our coir brick and our seed starter plugs both come buffered this way, and you only need to add water.
